Allison: 10 Months

We are inching closer and closer to one year and Allison keeps getting more and more fun as the weeks go by!

Allie is crawling around all over, and has started pulling up to stand on anything that she can. Eric said that she has transferred from the chair to his leg too- look at her go!

She's still a big fan of food. Current favorites are green beans and mandarin oranges.

Favorites for Allison this month include crawling to wherever she wants to go, chewing on all the things, being outside, and playing with Katie's pretend makeup. She loves taking things out of a container. If I don't know where she's at, I can take a good guess that she's either in the bathroom taking bath toys out of their tub or in the pantry taking chips out of their box. If I'm vacuuming the kitchen/dining room, she crawls as fast as she can to "catch" it. And her siblings, she loves them. Especially Katie. Allie thinks that Katie is the funniest thing ever. She also really loves to squeeze you so hard that she pinches you, but I don't think that's an intentional favorite thing of hers ha.

Dislikes would be having to wait on anything- a bottle, getting picked up, getting out of the high chair.

She is chatting up a storm and her favorite thing to say is "mom mom mom mom", but I've heard a few other consonants in there. I think that she is starting to wave. We've seen her do it a handful of times, but I'd like to see it more consistently before I say she's waving.

Allison is in 9 month clothes and size 3 diapers. She weighs about 19.4 pounds and is about 27.25 inches long. She is still taking five 6 ounce bottles a day and napping two times. She has two teeth on the bottom and two of her top teeth are starting to work their way through her gums.

She celebrated Easter, Mother's Day, and was a rockstar on her first camping trip.

She even transitioned from her office bedroom to sharing a room with Katie. And this is how I know we've been extra blessed with good sleepers- Katie is up about a million times between putting her to bed and the time Eric and I go to bed and Al just sleeps through it all.

I don't know how anything can top this month, but I know that I'll be saying the same thing in June, so bring it on!
