Katie Jo is four! I feel like she's been four forever, but now its officially official.
Katie probably gives me the most stress and gray hairs, but she also brings the biggest smile to my face. She is kind (most of the time), loving, and silliest jokester I know. She loves to make funny faces and fart noises, and is always trying to tickle Allison to make her laugh.
She has such a big heart. Every night before bed we pray. After our prayers we say something we thank God for, and at the end of Katie's list every night is "And thank you God for making my whole family, even my mommy". I know she means "especially my mommy", but I'll let her keep saying it this way.
Katie loves all things Elsa (and has now for over a year). She's a big fan of playdoh, swinging, chocolate, mismatched jammies, and sitting in the kid seat on a bike ride.
She loves getting her picture taken and looking at it after you take it. And she also still loves looking at herself in the sliding glass door at night as she goes off to bed. She is definitely a night owl, and will come out of her room no less than 5 times a night to go potty, get a drink, bring a random toy out of her room, and then get another drink. We make her pay us in kisses, so it all evens up in the end.
Katie has grown so much this year. She is brave, adventurous, and a great sister. We have our molehills that we love to die on, but I'm hoping those get better as this year goes on. We couldn't imagine our life without our Kater-chip. Happy 4th birthday sweet girl, we love you!
