These two are officially the newest members of God's kingdom and St. Thomas Church! On Sunday May 17, 2020, Brayden and Ashley were baptized into the Catholic faith.
I had really wanted to get them baptized during mass and have Father Dean walk around church with them after their baptism, but thanks to COVID-19 I'm not sure when we will be able to attend a church service in person again, and if we waited too much longer their baptismal gowns wouldn't fit any longer. So we made the decision to get them baptized with just our immediate families.
Here are a few pictures of their big day! Brayden is wearing the gown that James and I were both baptized in, and Ashley is wearing the gown that Eric's sisters and then Emily was baptized in.

The whole gang! Brayden's Godparents are James and Nichole, and Ashley's Godparents are Erin and Chad.
And some pretty proud grandparents.
Thank you Father Dean for such a wonderful baptism!
We celebrated after with cake and ice cream at Dan and Theresa's house. My mom made their beautiful cake!
We can't wait to watch these two grow in their faith and look forward to helping them develop a love for Jesus.
