Nonstop June

When I look back to the month of June, the only word I can think of is NONSTOP. June went 100 mph, and I wouldn't have had it any other way.

The first half of June was full of Eric and I time as we travelled New England. If you missed my posts, you can find our time in Boston, Rhode Island, and Connecticut here, Vermont and New Hampshire here, and Maine and a return trip to Boston here

While we were gone the kids were kept busy by time at Nichole and Connor, Erin and Chad's and both of our parents. I'm not sure they missed us too incredibly much.

The next weekend we celebrated Father's Day with Eric.

And also spent some time with Eric's dad.

That week was the fair, and we loved it so much we went two nights in a row! The second night we had my mom and dad tag along to celebrate Father's Day with him. The kids discovered the beauty of a fair corn dog and cheesy fries.

The next day we took family pictures with my parents and brother. We haven't gotten all the photos back yet, but I'm loving this sneak peek that was posted. SMT Photography is the best!

A few days later I took the twins to the Newton pool to swim with some friends.

And that night Eric camped with the kids in the backyard. We had our cousins over to play first, and roasted hotdogs and had smores before catching fireflies and having a grand ol' time.

The kids were so excited to stay out in the tent, and I was surprised they made it all night long. Eric said they went to sleep fairly quickly, and Ashley only woke him up one time because he was snoring too loud (ha!).

On the 27th we went to Holiday with Nichole, Connor, Grant, and Emily. Even though the log ride might have ruined the fun for Ashley, everyone said they still had a fun time and would go back (as long as we don't ride the "boats"- aka the log ride- again). You can read about our day and see more pictures here

Then this past weekend we spent Friday night at Doug and Ashley's house. The kids ran around and played all night (mostly inside because, pew it has been HOT lately).

And that evening we snuck outside to light up some sparklers. Brayden and Ashley thought they were pretty cool and loved the colors they made.

And if all of that wasn't enough to make our June full, we also swam at my parent's house,

swung to our hearts desire (on big kid swings to boot),

sweated it out to play outside,

enjoyed even more cousin time,

and just had an all around great time as a family.

June, you were nonstop, but you treated us oh so well. I'm excited to see what July has in store for us!
